Overview

ICANN's Geographic Regions Framework is the organizational foundation for ensuring diverse geographic, participation and representation in ICANN's affairs.

This will be a Workshop discussion regarding the future of ICANN's Geographic Regions framework featuring members of the community interested in sharing their views with members of the community-wide working group examining the current geographic regions framework. WG members will discuss the latest progress on the drafting of their Final Report to the ICANN Board.

This workshop will start with a brief overview of the current geographic regions framework and the Working Group's latest efforts to produce a Final Report document.

Most of the workshop time will focus on dialogue with community members - mainly regarding the potential working group recommendations and their implications for the community.

To help community members prepare for the discussion, summary documents (as they are developed) and possible draft materials will be posted on this workshop session page.
